Animal Signs Project

Second Semester Studio Project

2026

The goal of this assignment is to use line, shape, and form to represent your chosen animal. Focus on trying to represent a larger idea using less detail. Leaving room for the viewer to interpret the sign using their own understanding of the context. Be less specific, and instead be for intuitive and concise. Design these animal symbols in such a way that they suggest traits and feelings rather than illustrating them explicitly.
